UKF Artists Coming to NYC this Saturday
This Saturday, December 1st at the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC, UKF will be hosting a show featuring the heavy electronic sounds of Chase & Status, Borgore, Bare Noize, Gemini, and more. You can expect this show to be incredibly bass heavy. Chase & Status is a British electro duo that has collaborated with artists such as Rihanna and Tinie Tempah. They will only be doing this one show in the US.
Borgore is an Israeli DJ and producer who plays heavy dubstep beats, highlighted by triplets (self-described as “gorestep”). Saturday will be his last performance on the east coast before heading over to California and Washintion.
The rest of the lineup features Bare Noize, Delta Heavy, Dirty Phonics, Gemini, and Xilent, as well as NYC resident Alex English.
UKF started out as a YouTube channel showcasing dubstep and drum & bass. UKF was originally intended to stand for “United Kindom Federation of” followed by dubstep or drum and bass. Today, UKF has expanded to cover many electronic sounds (now with more YouTube channels and a podcast), produce festivals and shows, and sell tickets and merchandise. Their shows are distinguished by their heavy bass influence and cutting-edge electronic sounds. UKF generally hosts shows in Western Europe and infrequently does shows in the US. This one is not to be missed—who knows when is the next time they’ll come around!
