Suwannee Hulaween Announces Silent Disco Artists
The magical and mystical Suwannee Hulaween is only a few short weeks away! We’ve been waiting all year with baited breath for this spectacle of a music festival, and it looks like this installment will set the bar at new heights. Today, the festival announced the Silent Disco and the artists who will be blasting sweet tunes in your earholes, taking you on a journey through time and space.
Hulaween’s Silent Disco will feature Marvel Years, Artifakts and Prophet Massive, among many other talented artists; some of which are local to the Southeast, like Ployd from Atlanta, GA. The Disco will also host artists at large, Jennifer Hartswick and Roosevelt Collier. So dust off your dancin’ shoes because this weekend is going to be one funky, groovy, soul swingin’ dance party!
About Suwannee Hulaween
Every year on Halloween weekend, Suwannee attracts the weird and the wonderful from across the country to take part in an annual celebration of life, love, music, and all things funky. Consistently dropping stellar lineups and providing amazing experiences to attendees, Hulaween is definitely one of the largest and most anticipated themed events of the year.
This festival has some of the best vibes and atmosphere of any other currently in production and offers ample camping space, art installations, activities, and music in an environment that is a pure utopia. Nestled under the trees with Spanish moss elegantly dangling from their branches and situated next to a lake that will take your breath away, there is no place quite like Suwannee. The park also offers guest comforts including a general store, full-service restaurant, free showers, indoor bathrooms, and water stations.
This year, there will be workshops ranging from yoga to flow arts, dazzling lights, mind-blowing installations, performance art, and even carnival-style games hosted by the Green Team at the Recycle Rewards tent where you can win prizes and find out how to live more sustainably and make a difference. Hulaween is also a festival that gives back to the community. The Suwannee Music Foundation and Conscious Alliance will be hosting their inaugural food drive to support the Love Inc. Food Bank. Bring five or more cans or non-perishable food items to the food drive tent and you can receive a commemorative 2016 festival poster.
Since last year’s Hulaween saw triple the amount of attendees, event producers will be making several changes for 2016. Ensuring an elevated fan experience from the moment of arrival, ticket sales will be limited to 20,000 weekend passes. An EZ-Pay Payment Plan is available for most tickets. Don’t forget to buy your car camping pass along with your weekend passes, since this year, Hulaween is implementing a new camping policy as to not overcrowd the campgrounds. If you don’t have a camping pass, there are shuttle passes available. VIP packages are SOLD OUT!
So gather up your tribe and get ready to journey to Florida for a weekend that will change your life forever!
