Shpongle, Deathwaltz, and The Electric Factory: A Perfect Storm
What happens when a psychedelic music project, a powerhouse of a independent production company, and an already established entertainment venue team up to throw an event? Well, the Philadelphia music scene comes out on top and gets ready for a night to remember.
This Saturday April 5th, Shpongle is set to grace Philly in collaboration with DeathWaltz Media Group to bring their new tour setup Shpongletron 3.0 to your eyes. Shpongle will be bringing friends Desert Dwellers and Schlang for opening support with them to The Electric Factory. You can purchase tickets HERE .
After watching this video, I couldn’t be more anxious for what I am going to experience this upcoming Friday.
Shpongle is a music project with emphasis on the psychedelic. Fusing world music, ambient textures, and psychedelic trance, and incorporating vocal samples that touch upon expanded consciousness, you are sure to experience something truly unique. For this tour, visual artist Zebbler helps craft the visual stage presentation to propel you on a psychedelic journey you won’t soon forget.
So the only real question remains: Will your consciousness be elevated this weekend?
Two Americans comprise the band Desert Dwellers, who so effortlessly seam downtempo tracks with rich earthly rhythm sections, deep bass, and exotic vocals. This dynamic duo has been seen at some of the Summer’s best festivals including, Shambala, Envision, Lightning in a Bottle and more. Don’t miss this crowd favorite on Friday.
Listen to Desert Dwellers.
If you are fans of Deathwaltz Media’s own artist Space Jesus then I suggest you get to the show early and catch Schlang, as the act that Space Jesus makes up one half of this outfit. The other half of Schlang is Supersillyus.
