Plant A Tree With Backwoods Music Festival
We have reached a point where saving the environment has become crucial to Earth’s survival. Recycling, reducing our pollution, there are many things to do when it comes to saving the planet. Now, there’s another way: festivals! Backwoods Music Festival has partnered with Trees for the Future in ensuring a better Earth. This great opportunity allows festival goers to have a tree planted with every ticket purchased, and I must say, that is a pretty sweet deal. You get to have fun, and plant a tree
The late Dave Deppner along with Grace Deppner have served as volunteers in the Philippines where they witnessed atrocities such as illegal logging and systems that were detrimental to the environment. Many years later Trees was incorporated as a public charity and has helped plant millions of trees across the world. The Deppner’s story is truly inspiring in making the world a bit brighter and cleaner for future generations.
With programs set up around the world, including countries such as Fiji and the Philippines, the results have been incredible. Lands thought once dead have been brought to life, forests have sprung up with greenery taking over. Now is the time to help give back to the world and honor Dave’s legacy and hard work to ensure a better Earth.
