LTN & Kokai Demonstrate Deep House with Ease
When two leaders of the house and trance world collide, a new culture of deep house emerges. Louis Tan & Kokai Ferenc sync perfectly once again with the release of their latest three-track EP on Myon & Shane’s 54 sub-label Lowride Records. Louis Tan, better known as DJ LTN and Kokai invite us into the world of deep house by welcoming concentrated beats and heavenly undertones to fill our ears.
The latest three-track EP is a follow up to Lazy Sunday/Ibiza Sunset currently sitting at #3 on Beatport’s Trance Top 100 Releases. Tracks “Don’t Be Shy,” “Cruisin’” and “The Girl with the White Shoes” complete the EP with both original and Jamie Pirie mixes. The EP is now available on Beatpro. Culturally, LTN’s Indonesian roots and Kokai’s Hungarian house style complement one another like leather and suede, both coming from the same foundation yet with their own distinctive feel.
The LTN & Kokai duo maintain their individual presence among the house scene. Deep Candy 6 produced by Dry & Kokai follows the progressive house trail, while LTN & Kokai’s collaborative efforts lead us down the ethereal path. DJ LTN’s notoriety can be traced back to his guest spot on Above & Beyond’s Group Therapy radio show, reaching listeners in 35 countries every week. It comes as no surprise he was invited perform March 13 & 14 at the Future Music Festival Asia alongside artists Avicii, Girogio Moroder, Fatboy Slim and Knife Party. Named Breakthrough DJ/Producer of 2012 by Dash Berlin, his live performance is sure to please the local trance family.
LTN & Kokai are a cosmic metronome within the realm of deep house. This metronome has just begun and has no plan to slow tempo.
