Lights All Night: Five Artist to See
The fifth annual Lights All Night music festival is just around the corner. This bold and bright EDM extravaganza will be held December 26th and 27th 2014 at the Dallas Convention Center in Dallas, TX. Perfect timing to dance away the old year and rave-in 2015!
The festival has made a name by hosting the biggest, baddest Kings and Queens of EDM, and this year does not fail to disappoint. The lineup hosts an impressive collection, featuring, Skrillex, Armin Van Buuren, DJ Snake and Zeds Dead just to name a few.
Of course we are stoked to catch these artists live and in action at LAN, but there in honor of the festival’s five year run, we wanted to highlight five more artists we are also jonesin’ to see.
1.) Clayton Mills and Harrison Knight make up the electronic duo Odesza. Odesza has an incredibly palatable sound. They create very unique, pleasurable, oftentimes downtempo sonic narratives that stray from the stereotypical EDM “big hall anthem” vibe. Their tracks are chill enough to groove to in your car, but heavy enough to blare to a thousands-strong crowd. We are excited to see them added to the LAN lineup. Here is “Koto” from their recently released album In Return.
2.) Another beloved duo of geniuses is Disclosure. This quickly growing electronic phenom is made up of British brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence. At LAN they will be performing a ‘DJ set’ likely to feature their more house inspired tracks like “Apollo.” Like Odesza, Disclosure departs from huge bass drops and driving beats, instead creating an addicting dance rhythm from unique sounds and sample.
3.) And of course we must represent the ladies of HO– USE. Pun intended. Brazzabelle brings those bold EDM drops, massive synth sounds and of course infections dance beats with her electro-house sets are are 100% sure to bring the entire festival to its feet to dance. Here’s her track “Siren.”
4.) While we’re on the topic of house, let us not forget Holland based duo Firebeatz. These boys have created a strong army of fans for their classic house beats with brilliantly sampled vocal riffs. They’ve topped all the charts with their four-on-the-floor magic and now they’re coming all the way to Texas to bring us some killer tracks.
5.) Last but of course not least is Oliver Heldens. Another gem from the Euro-continent, this dutch young prodigy (he’s 19!?!?!) is coming stateside as well to wow us with his clean rhythms and distinct tones. Check out this mix with Sander Van Doorn.
Tickets for the fifth annual Lights All Night are on sale NOW! With the fest just weeks away, snatch em’ while you can and make your plans to party with these talented artists and the magical night they are sure to create.
