The fourth annual Glassfest is set to open May 23-26th in Corning, New York with a four day celebration of GLASS!
Kicking things off Thursday evening at 5:30 pm will be the ribbon cutting ceremony. A special 2300 Degrees: Glassfest Edition will feature musical guests Fishtank Ensemble and Gold Dust Lounge. As always, there will be a shuttle service for those who need a ride after the event ends at 7:30 pm.
Friday evening there will be a Finger Lakes wine and craft beer tasting. There will be plenty of music throughout the day and into the night. Distilled will get things going in Centerway from 4:30 to 7:30. Then Tongue & Groove will get the main stage in Centennial Park warmed up forNik and The Nice Guys. Trolley service will also be available.
Saturday gets started with the Glassfest 8k at the stadium at 8:30 am. The art displays and exhibit on Market Street open at 11 am and go until 7 pm. You can walk Market Street and see all the wonderful art booths and catch the single and team Flame-Offs in the parking garage (located right behind Centerway). Music starts with The Wise Guys from 4 to 6pm in Centennial Park. DSBwill play from 8 pm until 10 pm. Fireworks start at 10 pm!
Sunday, the art show opens at 11 and goes to 5 pm. The Zooper Starswill be in Centennial Park (TBD). Nothin New will play from 12:00 to 1:30, followed by country singer Jamie O’Neil from 2 pm to 3:30.
