Datsik to Rock The Paramount on April 6th | Ticket Giveaway
On Saturday, April 6th, dubstep DJ Datsik will be coming to The Paramount in Huntington, New York, so if you missed his trip through town a few months ago, be sure to catch him this time. The Canadian superstar will be bringing with him his incredible live show, which includes 3D-Mapping by VSquared Labs, who produced Amon Tobin’s critically acclaimed ISAM production, so you know it’s going to be a spectacle you’ll want to experience firsthand. The show starts at 9:00, is ages 18 and up, and is presented by Live for Live Music.
Datsik is the stage name of Tony Beetles, the 24 year old dubstep producer and DJ who has been making waves in the music scene over the past few years with some high profile releases and a slew of Beatport #1 tracks. His music blends heavy bass with elements of drum and bass, electro, dubstep, and hip hop, creating top notch live sets in addition to his critically acclaimed productions.
Last year, he released his debut studio album, Vitamin D, on Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak Records. The album featured collaborations with the likes of Infected Mushroom, Z-Trip, Downlink, and Jonathan Davis of Korn. More recently, he released a collaborative track with Excision, called “Vindicate,” on his own Firepower Records. He’s been a very busy man.
