Chasing Shambhala: The Village Teases Upcoming Schedule
We are still a few months away from Shambhala opening its gates in August, but speculation about the impending lineup is starting to gain momentum. As we explored in the last installment of Chasing Shambhala, the stages at this festival truly take on a life of their own and act almost as autonomous entities. So when The Village stage decides to break rank and tease us with a little schedule sneak peak no one seems to think it odd or out of the ordinary. A few days ago the creative geniuses behind the infamous Village stage decided to have a little fun with their friends on social media and released this cryptic gem:
We are certainly all salivating at the possibilities of what this epic stage has in store. While Shambhala is a festival that has so much more to give than simply its music, we can’t help be seriously stoked for the amazing batch of artists which will soon be released.
This filled in version of the above image has been making its way around the social media-verse and we must emphasize that it is no way the official lineup, but it is certainly worth a gander in our opinion.
If even half of these artists are actually primed to hit the Village Stage this August, things are going to get absolutely crazy. Some personal favorites on this mock schedule for me are certainly Rusko b2b Caspa, Sub Focus Live (which seems like a stretch) and Andy C b2b Armanni Reign. While this all could be wishful thinking, it never hurts to dream. Shambhala recently sold out in record breaking time, but you can avoid paying exorbidant prices by checking out the Facebook group Shambhala Ticket Exchange. This group is ran by homies for homies, so definitely look there before you head to StubHub.
