BangOn! NYE Time + Space Brings The NYC Underground Into A New Decade
Famous for their immersive atmosphere and high production quality, BangOn! NYC events have become the industry standard here in New York City. From their two-day Halloween extravaganza, Warehouse of Horrors, to their summer camp getaway festival, Elements Lakewood, the visionaries at BangOn! know how to constantly push the envelope and blaze a trail for underground electronic music.
We’re excited to be bringing in the new year and the new decade with BangOn!’s masterfully curated lineup of house music stars and getting lost in the several art installations to keep us inspired and captivated. BangOn!’s New Years’ Eve sensation will be held at The Knockdown Center in Maspeth, Queens, an enormous event space that is quickly becoming synonymous with this legendary event brand.
Alongside Claptone and Shiba San, BangOn! residents The Golden Pony, N2N and Dirty Looks will be providing a refreshing taste of local talent to the night. Heart Beats resident Cryostatik will be performing with over 15 years of DJ experience at his 2nd BangOn! event this year. Another new lineup addition is CONVNDRVM who is the musical partnership between 5 of Nov. co-founders Cruz Cruz and DJ Karen. These two NYC locals combine musical flavors from jazz, funk, hip-hop, & latino roots into their style that weaves tech, deep, & left field house through bouncy progressive techno rhythms. 5 of Nov. produces the monthly Liquid Brunch at Secret Loft, and has worked with locals DJs including Dischetto, Remniqe, Day Cart, and DJ EH. Another influential New York DJ, Penny Lane will be closing out the Alchemy Stage on this night.
BangOn! has truly shaped a decade of music and nightlife with its groundbreaking work. From woodland sleep-away camp festivals to larger than life warehouse parties events, BangOn! has given us endless options and opportunities for adventure and magic. Their innovative view of events and user experience has kept the brand not only alive but thriving more than ever, as the community of New York is ready to explore more immersive experiences in the new decade and beyond.
