The 2nd Annual 710 Cannabis Cup Reminds Us To Concentrate on the Concentrates
New competitions will rise from various and somewhat new methods of marijuana consumption. The second annual 710 Cannabis Cup in Denver Colorado will be held at the Grassroots store from July 10th through 13th.
With new events like this popping up all over the country, it is hard to distinguish whether this is a celebration of well-deserved rights and freedoms, or a competition. Either way, it’s fun in every libertarian sense of the word. But there are also a lot of questions to be asked such as: legalization restrictions, concentrate legislation, how the hell are “dabs” made, and what are the beneficial or non-beneficial characteristics of THC concentrate? Sensible Reason will be on site to illustrate the answers to these questions.
Tickets for the event range from the Judge pass, $600, and Competitor pass for $271 with an additional pass for $137.50, to the Day passes at $35 a piece. If you are feeling like a VIP then your ticket will cost $275. Access the ticket page for more information here.
The $600 Judge pass may seem extreme, but, when one considers that they get a free Hitman glass judge rig to try out every sample (complimentary at that) along with a special edition grassroots judges hat, it’s easy to see how this adds up to a high class experience (emphasis on the high).
There is also a stocked lineup and vendors booth at the cup. Slick Rick and Devin the Dude will be headlining the event along with Bob Marley (Rastasaurus) and Talking Heads (Gravity A) tribute bands among other up and comers. There will be vendors present and if one is interested in becoming a vendor the information can be found here.
So get to conditioning, because the time is near. See you in Denver.
